"GEE I NEVER THOUGHT ABOUT IT THAT WAY BEFORE."
UNLESS YOUR ADVERTISING IS PRODUCING THAT KIND OF A REACTION IN YOUR TARGET AUDIENCE, YOU'RE NOT GETTING YOUR MONEY'S WORTH. BECAUSE UNTIL THAT HAPPENS NOTHING ELSE IS GOING TO HAPPEN.
Justin Barton began working at Creative Directions in August of 2000 as the agency's Art Director and Associate Creative Director until May of 2003. In that time he designed advertising campaigns for a select group of clients including: The Philosophy Foundation, Toolmex, Media100, Insight Digital, Step Direct, PJ Shannon, and Tom Snyder Productions. He also developed many of Creative Directions self-promotional materials including this website.
Justin went on to become the Communications Manager of a small software company, Snowbound Software, located in Watertown, MA, where he applied his visual and verbal communication skills to rebrand and redesign all of Snowbound's marketing and customer support communications — helping the company to grow an average of 30% per year in revenue. During this time, he continued to art-direct the majority of Creative Direction's advertising campaigns, along with several independent freelance projects including websites and Flash presentations.
Following the death of his father and founder of Creative Directions, Bruce Barton, in October of 2006, Justin decided to take over the business. "It's a rare quality to be able to see beyond the surface of things; to uncover ideas that fundamentally change peoples' perceptions," said Justin. "Bruce was one of those people who could cut to the underlying truth with razor-sharp precision. He taught me everything I know about branding, advertising and communications. I am proud to champion Bruce's ideas. That's why you'll find them headlining every page of this website. "
